FESTIVAL SPARRING - PARTNERSHIP WITH EDUARDO CARDOSO BOXING SCHOOL - 09/14

The third edition of our Sparring Festival in partnership with our educators Erivan Feitosa and Natália Marques, and the Eduardo Cardoso Boxing School.

Entitled “Knocking Out Racism,” this edition featured the presence of collectives such as Abraço Campeão, Lutando pelo Futuro, Jean Boxing Team, Mandinga Boxing, Medelim, Wallace Ferreira Team, Boxing Training Lab, Havana Boxing, the artist Emmanuel Perini "PG," and educator and pedagogue Gaby Makena, who led a talk on anti-racist education.

There was also a screening showcasing many boxing references, from Muhammad Ali to local athletes and students, as it’s essential that they see themselves represented and realize that they have already become important role models!

It’s worth highlighting that we had participation from young and adult athletes, ranging from beginners to more experienced boxers, including a Brazilian champion and silver and bronze medalists from the country's largest boxing championship.
